A software engineer by training, Dave founded his first software business in 1987 which evolved into an early SaaS adopter and became Helix Health, a leading UK and Irish healthcare software provider
He has a passion for helping innovative businesses to grow. He has invested in a number of successful technology / services companies with a focus on healthcare, pharma and consumer sectors
Dave founded Causeway Capital and is non-executive chairman of bb's Coffee and Muffins. He also acts as an adviser and mentor to number of other Irish SMEs
Matt splits his time between Ireland and the UK, sourcing new exciting investment opportunities for Causeway Capital on both sides of the Irish sea
He was previously COO and CFO of Helix Health where he helped develop the company's organic and acquisitive expansion into the UK, eventually leading the eventual exit process in 2014
Matt spent most ofhis twenties as a corporate finance adviser with Hawkpoint Partners in London focusing on the healthcare, technology and service sectors
